Our Story

Bestowed was started by two teenagers from Queensland, Australia, with a simple observation: weddings are changing – and gift-giving should change with them.

Weddings today cost more than ever. Couples are dreaming bigger, expecting more, and deserve a day that truly reflects them. But as the cost of venues, photographers, florists, and honeymoons continues to rise, the gap between the wedding they want and the one they can afford keeps growing.

At the same time, couples are getting married later in life. Many have already built homes, filled their kitchens, and accumulated everything a traditional gift registry would offer. The last thing they need is a third toaster or another set of wine glasses.

We believe guests should be able to give something that actually matters – a contribution toward the wedding itself. Whether it's helping cover the venue, the florist, the photographer, or the honeymoon, Bestowed lets loved ones play a real part in making the day a couple truly deserves a reality. No more guessing what they might need from a department store.
